In this workshop, participants explore how graphic novels like American Born Chinese give authors the ability to combine elements of reality and fantasy to tell powerful and compelling stories where the text and imagery enrich and play off one another. Participants will learn the steps that go into creating pages for a graphic novel, refining their composition skills as they engage in sketching, lettering, inking and coloring. All supplies/materials provided. Registration required. FREE - For ages 13-18
