12:45 PM - 1:15 PM ESTAll runners will park at the Shoppes at South Hills and check in at Fleet Feet of Poughkeepsie. Check-in by 12:00 Noon to pick up race bib. No runners permitted without a race bib. The race start is a short walk along 9D to DeLavergne Avenue in the Village of Wappingers Falls. The race will start promptly at 12:45 pm, proceed south on Route 9D and follow the parade route, ending near Mesier Park. Due to traffic control and parade, no walking please. No pets or strollers permitted.

PRESALE BIB PICKUP AND RACE ENTRIES WILL BE AVAILABLE AT FLEET FEET POUGHKEEPSIE ON FRIDAY 10:00AM - 7:00PM, AND ON SATURDAY MORNING STARTING AT 10:00 AM UNTIL NOON, AND AT THE RACE STARTING AREA ON SATURDAY FROM 11:15 AM UNTIL 12:30 PM. CASH OR CHECK ONLY PLEASE.
RACE STARTS PROMPTLY AT 12:45 PM.

The 1st Annual Fun Run will be held March 2 in cooperation with the Dutchess County St. Patrick's Parade Committee and the Village of Wappingers Falls. The Fun Run will be a festive, fast and family run immediately before the 24th Annual Dutchess County Saint Patrick's Parade in the Village of Wappingers Falls. The entrance fee includes a gift (hat or earwarmers) for the first 150 runners and post race refreshments in Mesier Park. Race is capped at 200 runners. Race will be held sun, rain or snow!
There will be Finisher Awards to the Top Three Runners and a best dressed costume contest at the conclusion of the race. Best dressed categories include but may not be limited to:
- Best Head-to-Toe in Green Costume
- Irish to the Core
- St. Patrick's Team Spirit (awarded to three or more runners together / max of 12)
Runners will follow the full parade route and cover a short, but hilly 1.4 mile route through the crowd lined streets of the Village. Enjoy a great run, enjoy the parade and patronize local businesses after you exercise! If you have never been to the parade, it features great pipe and drum bands, floats, music and much more!
This event is organized by the Health & Wellness Committee of the Dutchess County Regional Chamber of Commerce in partnership with Fleet Feet of Poughkeepsie, Dutchess Tourism and is sponsored by Health Quest. A portion of the proceeds will benefit the Dutchess County St. Patrick's Parade Committee Scholarship Fund and The Chamber Foundation, Inc.
