Healthy Body=Healthy Mind Challenge
for Mental Health Awareness Month
Lucky Orphans Horse Rescue is excited to announce the Mental Health Mile A Day Challenge, inviting participants to walk one mile every day for the entire month of May. The initiative aims to support Lucky Orphans' mission of providing Equine Assisted Psychotherapy and other services to individuals facing mental and emotional struggles, including PTSD, domestic violence, and anxiety.
At Lucky Orphans Horse Rescue, the focus is on the profound connection between horses and people. Through Equine Assisted Psychotherapy and various other programs, Lucky Orphans strives to make a positive impact on the lives of those in need. By participating in the Mental Health Mile A Day Challenge, individuals not only improve their own well-being but also contribute to the community by supporting these vital services.
Registration is now open at this link: https://www.givegab.com/campaigns/lohrmile where participants are asked to make a $50 donation to Lucky Orphans. In return, they will receive a commemorative T-shirt. Registration will close on April 11th to allow time to order and ship the t-shirts. Additionally, participants will be entered into a $50 Fleet Feet Raffle, with the drawing taking place on May 31st.
Participants are encouraged to walk one mile every day, anywhere and at any time, throughout the month of May. By joining the challenge, individuals have the opportunity to better themselves while also making a tangible difference in the lives of others.
To foster a sense of community and provide motivation, Lucky Orphans invites participants to join their online platform, where they can connect with fellow walkers and access inspirational tips and resources.
Join us in supporting mental health awareness and Lucky Orphans Horse Rescue's invaluable services by taking part in the Mental Health Mile A Day Challenge this May.
