At 12:30, join us for a special panel discussion on how these rescued horses are helping humans - from wellness workshops such as a relaxing meditation or the healing power of Sound Baths to more targeted programs such as equine-assisted psychotherapy for individuals who are healing from abuse and trauma with the help of these majestic animals. Learn about why Lucky Orphans is the gold star standard in Dutchess County for equine assisted programming.
“Help a Horse Day is not just about horses—it's about recognizing the vital role horses play in human healing," said Deanna Hearn, Founder and Executive Director of Lucky Orphans Horse Rescue. "Our equine-assisted programs save human lives, proving that when we help horses, they help us in return."
This event is open to the public, and attendees of all ages are welcome. Whether you're a seasoned horse enthusiast or simply curious about these beautiful creatures, Lucky Orphans invites you to join the celebration and make a positive impact on equine welfare.
