Description
Join the Jewish Federation of Dutchess County for a Krav Maga (Israeli defensive martial arts) self-defense workshop series!
Gain the confidence and basic self-protection skills you need to successfully manage a violent confrontation.
The workshop is physical but is for all ages and no experience necessary.
Four 90-minute sessions in Poughkeepsie
Tuesdays at 6pm

The workshop series will be covering:
- Strategic Striking: When to hit, where to hit, and how to hit.
- Abduction Defenses: Preventing somebody from taking you unwillingly to a different location or to the ground.
- Ground Defenses: The fundamentals in getting a person off of your body so that you can get back to your feet as quickly as possible.
