Use the Chamber's Business Directory to Think Local First

With fall’s arrival on our doorstep, Chamber Members will be receiving their printed Fall/Winter 2023 Business Directory in the mail. The Directory is an encouragement and reminder for members of the community and businesses to Think Local First when they purchase goods and services. Our printed Business Directory is distributed bi-annually to all members and available at strategic places around the Hudson Valley. With listings by business category and an index, alphabetical by category, anyone can quickly find what type of business they are looking to connect with.

For Chamber members, this is great motivation for you to verify and update your business listing. Log in to the online member portal and check to be sure your company information is accurate, so it appears correctly both online and in print. The online version of the Business Directory pages are some of the most frequently visited on the Chamber’s website. By checking the details of your listing and updating it regularly, you can promote your organization more effectively as the language you use will be picked up by search engines and further boost your Search Engine Optimization. Additionally, by making these updates, you will ensure the next printed version has the correct information for us to publish in the Spring.

The Business Directory is another way that the Chamber promotes our members and encourages the community to Think Local First – ultimately supporting our local economy. Find out more about how the Chamber can help your business with exposure in the Hudson Valley – for complete information and a personalized package specifically designed to suit your business and the audience you want to target, request a Member Development Session by emailing Josh at JGalow@dcrcoc.org.
