Plan now for Small Business Saturday

November brings Small Business Saturday on November 26th – an opportunity to show support for local businesses. Thinking local first keeps resources within the Hudson Valley, helping small businesses thrive. Find something unique while also supporting your community, whether it is a vinyl record from Darkside Records or some wonderful holiday décor from Adams Fairacre Farms (shameless plug), now is a great time to shop and Think Local First.

There are a number of exciting events this month, including the Contact Breakfast on November 16th, with Thomas Mulroy, CEO of T-Rex Capital Group, providing an update on Bellefield at Historic Hyde Park. Business After Hours for November will take place at Jason Patricks in Poughkeepsie on November 30th – a great opportunity to network with the local business community. In addition to these two great monthly events, Pigskins and Pints will be November 20th at Darby O’Gills in Hyde Park – a great way to enjoy a Sunday with delicious food and football, while also supporting The Chamber Foundation.

Finally, but certainly not least, is the ATHENA Awards. A night to recognize the honorees accomplishments in their careers and their community. The ATHENA Awards are given to members of the Hudson Valley that best embody the ATHENA Leadership model. Join us to celebrate the honorees at Christos Catering on December 1st.
