October is a great time to enjoy the Hudson Valley and to highlight your business

October is upon us and now is a peak time for tourism in the Hudson Valley region with fall foliage in full effect. What a great time to highlight your business! Let all the visiting eyes know what you have to offer, whether it is a seasonal item like Oktoberfest from Sloop Brewing or pumpkin picking at Fishkill Farms, let everyone know the best of what the region has to offer. 

There are a number of exciting events coming this month, such as Business After Hours at Hudson Valley Brewery on October 26^th and the October Contact Breakfast with House of Representatives 18^th Congressional District candidates Pat Ryan and Colin Schmitt. Be on the lookout for the upcoming Business Directory – a great place to have your business listed, and found, by members of your local community. 

Finally, the 31^st Annual Balloon Festival is now in the rearview mirror and what a great event! I’d like to take the opportunity to acknowledge the tireless work I witnessed from the Chamber and Foundation employees that seemed to make the event go off so well. What a great job! Now only eleven more months until the 32^nd Annual Balloon Festival. Of course, this couldn’t have gone so well without the supporting sponsors, starting with JP Morgan Chase & Co.
