Explore the Hudson Valley this summer!

July is here (already?) and with it a number of monthly events. The Monthly Contact Breakfast will take place on July 19th at the Poughkeepsie Grand Hotel featuring a presentation from Thomas P. DeNapoli, the New York State Comptroller. On July 26th, at the Hudson Valley Brewery, there will be a Chamber Network, Present and Refer – an excellent opportunity to present your business or organization to other Chamber members in the region. This is limited to one business per industry, so please sign up as soon as possible to guarantee your spot at this wonderful event. Immediately following, stay for the monthly Business After Hours – another great opportunity to network at the Hudson Valley Brewery.

July brings more exciting events, including one of my favorites – The Great Hudson Valley Scavenger Hunt. Register to participate at dcrcoc.org – the contest runs from July 1st through July 23rd and will bring you to many great local businesses in the Hudson Valley. Play as a team or as an individual, but make sure to join the fun that the Scavenger Hunt has brought to the Hudson Valley in the past few years. 

Finally, but certainly not least – the Annual Floating Business Break will take place on August 10th. This is a fantastic opportunity to cruise along the Hudson River from 5pm to 8pm. Beautiful scenery, wonderful food, and delicious beverages on the Hudson – all while networking with others from around the Hudson Valley – make sure to sign up at dcrcoc.org.
