The 32nd Annual JPMorgan Chase Hudson Valley Hot-Air Balloon Festival is scheduled for September 1-3, at Tymor Park in Union Vale, and there is no better way to celebrate summer.
Get up close and personal with hot-air balloons! One of the region’s signature community events, the Hudson Valley Hot-Air Balloon Festival attracts balloonists from all over the country, and always provides a wonderful weekend for the entire family. More than 100 scheduled balloon ascensions are scheduled throughout the weekend. Attractions include food trucks, Hudson Valley artisans, souvenir vendors, a beer and wine tent, live music, hot-air balloon illumination moon glows, fireworks, inclusive Children’s Zone and family activities sponsored by The Children’s Home of Poughkeepsie, both tethered balloon rides and full hot-air balloon flights and so much more! New for 2023 is the addition of Manuel Amusements rides and games.
Tickets are not sold at the gate; you must purchase them online in advance at www.balloonfesthv.com. All parking is on-site at Tymor Park, 249 Duncan Road, Lagrangeville and is free.
We will have early morning launches on Saturday and Sunday, along with opportunities to join a yoga class courtesy of Pellegrino Healing Center. Also featuring fireworks displays on Friday, Saturday and Sunday evenings coupled with spectacular balloon illumination moon glows. As always, balloon launches are weather and wind permitting.
A large event like this involves many hands and we always welcome volunteers. If you are willing to drive a golf cart, run a game, help a balloonist, lend a hand for set up/breakdown, or park cars, and more, please reach out to frontdesk@dcrcoc.org.
We welcome back JPMorgan Chase as our title sponsor, as well as Event Sponsors Bottini Fuel, and Q92.1 FM. A complete list of community sponsors and all the details, balloon ride and ticket information are available at balloonfesthv.com.
This is truly a fine example of our community coming together to deliver an uplifting event, and it is always great to see the crowds enjoying it up close and personal, as well as the economic benefits it brings to our business community. The Chamber and the Chamber Foundation strive to deliver a terrific festival for both locals and visitors to the Hudson Valley – I hope to see you there.
Thank you, as always, for your continued support of the Chamber, and remember to Think Local First!
