The Dutchess County Regional Chamber of Commerce’s October Contact Breakfast—from 7:30-9 a.m. on Wednesday, October 19—will include a forum between Congressman Sean Patrick Maloney and challenger Phil Oliva. The candidates for New York’s 18th Congressional District will each have an opportunity to speak about where they stand on pertinent issues and answer questions.
Representative Sean Patrick Maloney currently represents New York’s 18th district in the U.S. House of Representatives and was first elected in November 2012. Maloney works to create jobs and boost the economy in the Hudson Valley including strengthening the health and financial security of America’s retirees, investing and improving infrastructure, and keeping communities safe.
Phil Oliva currently serves in the office of Westchester County Executive Rob Astorino and is the President of Gipper Communications, LLC, a New York-based business and communications consulting firm. He believes in a limited government and increased efficiency; supporting the military and veterans’ issues; and protecting America’s borders as well as building a stronger economy.
D’Arcangelo & Co. LLP sponsors the October Contact Breakfast. D’Arcangelo was organized in Westchester County in 1950. They now have several offices located throughout the state with 33 partners and approximately 120 professional staff.
