A Successful Football-Themed Fundraiser

The Chamber Foundation held its annual Pigskins and Pints event on November 20 at Darby O’Gills in Hyde Park. Ninety guests enjoyed wings, pizza, beer, prizes and fun throughout the day.  Proceeds from the event will support the good work of the Chamber Foundation including its leadership programming and scholarship opportunities.
 
The origins of Pigskins and Pints traces back to Leadership Dutchess where the Leadership Dutchess Class of 2008 created a fundraising event called Wing Madness that centered around March Madness. The event was so successful, The Chamber Foundation decided to make it an annual tradition. In 2013, the event transformed into Pigskins and Pints as we know it today. 
 
This year’s Pigskins and Pints committee was co-chaired by Devan Cleary of Hodgkins Agency and Amy Van Tassel of Ethan Allen Workforce Solutions.  A special thank you to each committee member for recruiting prizes and selling tickets.
