The Chamber Foundation is pleased to announce the members of the Leadership Dutchess Class of 2024! These individuals will embark on a nine-month journey of learning about themselves, each other, and the community.

Are you a mid-to senior-level manager, nonprofit administrator, or entrepreneur seeking to develop advanced leadership and communications skills to move your organization and career forward? For 2024, consider leveling up with The Chamber Foundation’s Executive Leadership program. Executive directors, sole proprietors, and high-potential career managers who are being developed for senior roles will also benefit from this program.

Each year, dozens of 11th-grade students from Dutchess County undergo career exploration as part of The Chamber Foundation’s Youth Leadership program. The career assessments they complete during this exploration help students determine which career fields best suit them. The students then use the results of these assessments to determine where in the Hudson Valley they might complete their 20-hour internship as part of the Youth Leadership program.

The beneficial effects of volunteering on health outcomes are well-documented. Research has found that people who volunteer on behalf of others show significantly better mental and physical health over time. If you’re interested in getting more involved in the community this year, The Chamber Foundation relies on volunteers for many of its upcoming programs and events.

The Chamber Foundation’s Youth Leadership and Leadership Dutchess programs continue to deliver meaningful professional development, leadership skills training, and community involvement opportunities to local teens and adult professionals. As we gear up for graduation season, I’d like to highlight the great work that the Youth Leadership participants and the Leadership Dutchess participants achieved over the past 2022-2023 program year.
