PROPOSED PLANS REVEALED FOR NEW MEDICAL PARK IN FISHKILL, NEW YORK

State-of-the-art facilities to enhance healthcare access in Dutchess County

Fishkill, New York (September 16, 2024) – At a Town of Fishkill Planning Board meeting on September 12, 2024, Poughkeepsie-based Kirchhoff unveiled proposed plans for Fishkill Medical Park, a new, state-of-the-art, locally owned and managed general medical care center in southern Dutchess County. If accepted following the Planning Board and Town Board approval process, Fishkill Medical Park will play an important role in addressing the growing demand for quality healthcare services in Dutchess County and the heightened desire to keep medical care accessible locally.

“Our firm deeply respects the need to undertake a thorough planning process and is committed to working closely with the Town and the community to make Fishkill Medical Park a leading healthcare destination that properly addresses the needs of Dutchess County residents while creating an attractive environment befitting of this unique location,” said Joseph Kirchhoff, founder and CEO of Kirchhoff. “We look forward to working collaboratively with the Town of Fishkill and other stakeholders to ensure that the project significantly enhances medical access locally so that area families receive the quality healthcare they deserve.”

Fishkill Medical Park will be located on Snook Road in Fishkill, New York, immediately adjacent to Route 9 and Interstate 84, making it easily accessible from some of the County’s most well-traveled roadways and in proximity to public transportation hubs. Pending approval, the project will be set back more than 300 feet from Snook Road, minimizing visual impact. Fishkill Medical Park will comprise two buildings on two lots upon completion; lot 1 will have one, two-story building with a footprint of approximately 15,388 square feet, for a total of 30,776 square feet, and the second lot, a single-story, 11,310-square-foot building, totaling 42,086 square feet. The development will utilize 7 acres of the 32-acre parcel, leaving 80% of the property undeveloped, and preserving the natural landscape.
