Before joining the FKC&S team in 1995, Sappe began his career with the New York State Organized Crime Task Force and later entered private practice in the Hudson Valley as a litigator in the New York State and Federal Courts. He has represented a variety of health professionals in many different specialties, including cardiologists, obstetricians, otolaryngologists, gastroenterologists and orthopedic surgeons. He also has extensive experience representing clients in personal injury cases, ranging from products liability to car accidents to legal malpractice. A lifetime resident of Dutchess County, Sappe resides with his wife in East Fishkill, NY and is a member of the Dutchess County Bar Association and the New York Medical Defense Bar Association.
 
Collins joined the team at FKC&S in 2016 and became the first female partner at the firm in 2019. Focusing in the areas of medical malpractice litigation, professional liability litigation and general liability litigation, she has extensive experience in the defense and counseling of physicians, dentists, podiatrists, mental health providers, hospitals and nursing homes. In 2022 Collins received an AV Preeminent® Peer Rated Attorney designation through Martindale-Hubbell, the most reliable and sought-after peer rating standard in the legal industry for more than 130 years. A member of the New York State Bar Association, the New York Medical Defense Bar and the American Bar Association, she resides in Hopewell Junction, NY with her husband, Jim, and their three children.
